What is a boutique store and why did we choose to start one?

Hi, my name is Cherie' Jackson.  I am a stay-at-home mom of five children.  I live in a small town in North Carolina. I homeschool three of my children and two other kids.  I am a part-time photographer and love to spend time at the beach with my family.  My mother, Shelby Wiley, lives within walking distance to the beach in SC with my step-father.  She is a retired teacher and enjoys caring for her precious Shih Tzu, Chanel.

As busy as I am, I am always searching for ways to help the family financially.  I love everything to do with fashion and prefer shopping online. Who wants to go shopping with a car full of children? Ha! Not me! So my mom, who has always been my backbone, recommended we start a women's boutique. So, here we are! We live in different states, so we split duties. This does, however, give us two shipping locations on items in stock.

Why Caaak Boutique? Well, my children's names are Calista, Alina, Ariya, Adlee, and Kaleb.  So, I wanted to use their initials to create the name because they are (and have always been) my WHY.  That is where Caaak, pronounced as "cake," came from. 

So, what makes a boutique special and why should you buy from us? To start, a boutique is a small shop individually owned that carries clothing, accessories, shoes, etc. When you buy from us, you are helping two families, not a corporation. As a boutique, we cater to our customers' needs. We want to carry what you want to buy. We hand pick every item that we sell, checking style, quality, and brand. We wear what we sell, so this is important to us.

We want to create a community with Caaak Boutique.  We plan to attend trade shows and local events, go out into the community, and play a role in the local economy. We hope that you will join us on this exciting venture!
